Campus Transportation

Although Spectra Southside sits close to the southern entrance of campus, it may be that students would like to go farther around the city. The City of Berkeley has multiple bus lines that move throughout the blocks encompassing Spectra - the 51B and the 6, among others, are great examples of commonly used lines that students take to make their way to the BART station and Oakland, respectively. Additionally, the university provides night shuttles, one with a stop just a few blocks away, that makes a loop from the southern portion of campus through downtown to Northside. Not only that, but if you would prefer to walk to different locations across town, BearWalk, and university-affiliated organization, employs other students to be available during the late hours of the week to meet with and walk somebody to any destination within walking distance.
