Our studios come fully furnished for each resident with a bed, dressers, desk, and mini fridge! Each room is built slightly differently, so you can feel the character with each unit!
Laundry day is a breeze using our laundry room conveniently located on the 2nd floor. Equipped with 4 washing and 4 dryer machines, you can pay for your laundry using a virtual app, PayRange, or using quarters! Washing starts at $1.50 for a light cycle, $1.75 for medium, and $2.00 for a heavy load. Drying is $1.25/load regardless of what heat setting you choose.
A fan of online shopping? Never worry about your packages with our Amazon Hub Locker located in our lobby. Whether the package is from Amazon, UPS, or any other delivery service carrier, your package will be placed in the Amazon Hub Locker, and you will receive an email with a code to pick up your package once it arrives! The Amazon Hub Locker is accessible in the first floor lobby 24/7 to pick up your package anytime for your convenience.
Staying hydrated is one of the most important aspects of our health! Located on the 2nd and 4th floors, FloWater machines are there for you to get cold, filtered water at any time.
Each floor has 8 individual-use bathrooms to be shared by its respective residents. These include a shower, toilet, sink, and mirror and are cleaned daily by our maintenance staff. If you find that a restroom is dirty or unusable, you can submit a work order through your ResidentPortal!
Our communal kitchen and study space rooms are currently under construction in preparation for the Fall. The kitchen is scheduled to have two electric stoves as well as two full fridges.
Spectra Southside is located in the center of the UC Berkeley student experience nearby multiple areas of the East Bay that students frequently habit. Right on the historic Telegraph Ave, Spectra Southside is nearby Durant Food Court, each of the campus housing units, as well as People’s Park and Willard Park.
